Select Balance

Melatonin High Dose 150 mg is formulated for provider-guided use as part of integrative or complementary cancer care protocols, particularly alongside radiation therapy. It is not intended as a standard sleep aid and should be used only under medical supervision.

Pure myo-inositol powder. 5,600 mg per serving and NOTHING else in the jar (no fillers, no flavors, no sweeteners). Myo-inositol supports hormone balance, normal ovarian function, healthy insulin sensitivity and a calm, steady mood.

What’s inside

• Myo-inositol, 5,600 mg per 5.6 g serving (about 2 scoops)
• About 44 servings per jar
• Other ingredients: none

Why a powder

A full serving is 5.6 grams. Getting that from capsules would mean swallowing eight or more pills. The powder dissolves easily, tastes lightly sweet, and stirs into water, tea or coffee.

Common questions

Who is Myo Inositol for?
Practitioners often recommend it for women who are trying to conceive and want support for hormone balance, especially when blood sugar feels hard to keep steady or weight is hard to move. Myo-inositol supports healthy insulin sensitivity, healthy blood sugar levels, normal ovarian function, and a healthy balance of progesterone and testosterone in women.

How do I take it?
Take 1 to 2 scoops daily, stirred into water, tea or coffee, or use as directed by your healthcare practitioner.

How long does Myo Inositol take to work?
Give it about 3 months of daily use before judging results. That is roughly how long it takes an egg to mature, so practitioners use 3 months as the checkpoint.

Should I take it in the morning or at night?
Either. Time of day matters less than taking it every day, so pick the time you will remember.

Can I take Myo Inositol with metformin?
Yes, they are often used together. Let your prescribing provider know you are taking it, since your blood sugar may need watching.

Can men take Myo Inositol?
Yes. Men take myo-inositol too, most often to support healthy insulin sensitivity and blood sugar levels, and some use it to support healthy sperm quality.

Is this the same as Myo Inositol Plus?
No. Myo Inositol Plus is a separate formula with added ingredients. This jar is pure myo-inositol and nothing else.

How long does a jar last?
About 44 servings at the full 5.6 g serving.

What is in Select Balance Myo Inositol?
Just inositol. Each 5.6 g serving has 5,600 mg of inositol and no other ingredients, and a container has about 44 servings. It is gluten free and non-GMO.

Does your Myo Inositol contain D-chiro inositol?
No. It is 100% myo-inositol. I tried myo alone and a 40:1 myo to d-chiro blend with my patients, and I saw better results with myo alone. I looked at their hormone levels, blood sugar, insulin and how they felt overall. Stephanie, ARNP

Is Myo Inositol safe while breastfeeding or pregnant?
We can't make safety claims for pregnancy or breastfeeding, and good studies on supplements are hard to find. It is your decision, so take the full label to your provider. The database e-lactancia.org lists myo-inositol as safe while breastfeeding, and Drugs.com is useful for checking ingredient lists.

Can I mix it with other powders?
Yes. It is a powder you stir into a drink, and it mixes with our Magnesium powder, Creatine, Glutamine and even our Myo Inositol Plus powder. Take 1 to 2 scoops daily. If you get loose stools or other digestive complaints, decrease by half a scoop until you are comfortable, then try increasing again a few weeks later as your body tolerates it.

Should I test my hormones before I start?
Testing first is a good idea so you know where you are starting, and plenty of women begin without it. We have a Women's Hormone Panel and a Men's Hormone Panel online. You buy the panel, we send you a lab form to take to your nearest Labcorp, and you get your blood drawn. Results usually take 3 to 4 weeks. Then you get a video recorded 12 week protocol with recommendations for detox, nutrition, movement, mind/body and supplements.

Most magnesium supplements give you one form. Magnesium Complete gives you EIGHT, blended so one formula covers sleep, muscle relaxation, energy and nervous system balance. 378 mg of magnesium per 3-capsule serving.

What’s inside (per 3 capsules)

• Magnesium, 378 mg (90% DV) from a blend of dimagnesium malate (Albion), magnesium bisglycinate chelate (Albion TRAACS), citrate, orotate, caprylate, lactate, taurate and aspartate
• 40 servings per bottle (120 capsules)
• Other ingredients: vegetarian capsule (hypromellose, purified water), rice flour

Why eight forms

Different forms are chosen for different reasons. Glycinate and taurate are known as calming forms, malate is often chosen for energy, and citrate supports regularity. Blending them spreads the benefit across the whole body instead of one job.

Common questions

How do I take it?
1 to 3 capsules, 1 to 2 times daily, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. Many people take a serving in the evening.

When is the best time to take Magnesium Complete?
Evening or bedtime works best for most people. The glycinate and taurate forms in the blend are known as the calming forms.

How soon will I notice a difference?
Many people notice better sleep and muscle relaxation within a few days. Building up your magnesium stores takes a few weeks of daily use.

Will it upset my stomach?
Rarely. These chelated forms are gentle. If your stools get loose, cut back by one capsule until they are normal.

Can I take it with my medications?
Take it at least 2 hours apart from thyroid medication, antibiotics, iron and zinc, since magnesium can affect how they absorb. If you have kidney disease, check with your provider before taking any magnesium.

Is it vegetarian?
Yes. Vegetarian capsules with rice flour, no other fillers.

What is in Magnesium Complete?
Three vegetarian capsules give you 378 mg of magnesium (90% of the daily value) from eight forms: dimagnesium malate (Albion), magnesium bisglycinate chelate (TRAACS), citrate, orotate, caprylate, lactate, taurinate and aspartate. Other ingredients are the vegetable capsule (hypromellose, water) and rice flour. A bottle has 40 servings.

What is the difference between your magnesiums?
Magnesium Complete blends eight forms in one capsule. If you want one highly absorbable form, choose Magnesium Glycinate, which comes as a powder, capsules or tablets. Move Eeez is the one for bowel regularity, with a higher dose of magnesium oxide plus vitamin C and other minerals.

Powder, capsules or tablets: which should I choose?
I look at it by absorption. Powder is the purest form. Capsules hold the same powder and dissolve in digestion, which is usually not a problem. Tablets are powder pressed together with a binding agent, and in my opinion they absorb less well. Magnesium powder has a very mild taste. If your stomach is sensitive, choose capsules. If swallowing tablets is easier for you, that is a fine reason to pick them.

Which magnesium is best for constipation?
Move Eeez. It has a higher dose of magnesium oxide plus vitamin C and other minerals to support regular bowel movements while replacing minerals. Most bowel stimulants deplete you, and people tend to use them for too long, so that mineral support matters.

Prenatal Complete was designed by Stephanie Grutz, ARNP, FNP-C, when she knew there was a better way to give women a high-quality prenatal that supports a developing baby. Two capsules a day give you the active forms of key nutrients: methylfolate instead of folic acid, methylcobalamin for B12, and chelated minerals that are easier on the stomach. No fillers, no sweeteners, no fishy smell. It has 21 five-star reviews, and one customer put it simply: “The best prenatal I’ve found.”

When to take it

We recommend 2 capsules daily starting in early adulthood, years before you plan to conceive, then through conception, pregnancy and beyond, until menopause. Many customers keep taking it while breastfeeding.

When you are pregnant, add these two

During pregnancy we recommend adding Pregnancy Plus with Choline (2 capsules daily) and Omega 3 Fish Oil, Triple Strength (2 capsules daily) to help nourish your baby’s brain and body, and your own.

Key nutrients (per 2 capsules)

• Folate, 1,360 mcg DFE as Quatrefolic methylfolate (800 mcg)
• Vitamin B12, 800 mcg as methylcobalamin
• Iron, 15 mg as Albion Ferrochel bisglycinate
• Vitamin D3, 50 mcg (2,000 IU), plus vitamin K1 and K2 (MK-7)
• Iodine 250 mcg, choline 80 mg, calcium 200 mg, magnesium 80 mg
• Zinc, selenium, copper, manganese, chromium and molybdenum as Albion chelates
• Active B vitamins including P5P (B6) and riboflavin 5 phosphate
• Other ingredients: vegetarian capsule, rice flour

Why methylfolate

Methylfolate is the form of folate your body actually uses, so it does not rely on conversion. That is why so many women with MTHFR variants choose this prenatal.

Common questions

How do I take it?
1 capsule twice a day, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.

Is it gentle on the stomach?
The iron is Ferrochel bisglycinate, a chelated form known for being easier to tolerate. Customers often mention it does not cause nausea.

How long does a bottle last?
60 capsules, 30 days.

What is in Prenatal Complete?
Two capsules give you folate as Quatrefolic (6S)-5-MTHF (1,360 mcg DFE), vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin (800 mcg), choline (80 mg, as VitaCholine), vitamin D3 (2,000 IU), vitamin K2 as MK-7 (20 mcg), iodine (250 mcg), iron as Ferrochel bisglycinate (15 mg), zinc (15 mg) and selenium (70 mcg), plus other vitamins and chelated minerals. A bottle has 30 servings.

Which form of folate does it use?
Methylfolate. The folate is Quatrefolic (6S)-5-MTHF, a methylated form, for 1,360 mcg DFE per serving.

Do I need extra choline?
Prenatal Complete has 80 mg. Our Pregnancy Plus with Choline has a lot more, and I took both. In my opinion choline matters as much as folate, and both are important. It helps support your baby's developing brain and your own.

Is it safe to take during pregnancy?
Prenatal Complete is formulated for use before and during pregnancy. We can't make safety claims for any supplement, so share the full label with your OB or midwife.

What did you take during your pregnancy?
When I was pregnant I took Select Balance Prenatal Complete (2 capsules daily), Pregnancy Plus with Choline (2 capsules daily) and fish oil (2 to 4 capsules a day). Stephanie, ARNP

Vitamin D3 is the sunshine vitamin your body depends on for immune strength, bone health, mood, and healthy hormone function — yet most people run low, especially in winter. Available in a range of strengths (2,000–25,000 IU) plus a chewable, so you can match the dose to your needs.

Select Balance Omega-3 Fish Oil is a triple-strength, molecularly distilled fish oil designed for purity and potency with minimal taste. Formulated to deliver high-dose omega-3 support for inflammatory balance, cognitive function, and mood support with fewer pills due to its strength.

Magnesium glycinate, the gentle form. 300 mg of Albion TRAACS magnesium lysinate glycinate chelate per serving, to support sleep, muscle relaxation, nerve function, heart and bone health. At higher doses it can also support bowel regularity.

From Stephanie Grutz, ARNP: “Magnesium glycinate has been my go-to for initial meetings with patients... better sleep, less cramps, less muscle pain, less anxiety, better bowel movements.” Her suggestion is 300 mg a day for one to three months, then notice what has changed.

What’s inside (per 4 capsules)

• Magnesium, 300 mg (71% DV) as magnesium lysinate glycinate chelate (Albion TRAACS)
• 30 servings per bottle (120 capsules)
• Other ingredients: vegetarian capsule (hypromellose, purified water), rice flour, vegetarian magnesium stearate

Common questions

How do I take it?
1 to 2 capsules, 1 to 3 times daily with meals, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.

Will it upset my stomach?
Glycinate is one of the gentlest forms of magnesium. Customers note it does not cause the stomach or intestinal upset they had with store brands.

How is it different from Magnesium Complete?
This is a single form, glycinate. Magnesium Complete blends eight forms.

Formulated by practitioners, including Stephanie Grutz, ARNP, FNP-C. Made in an FDA-inspected, cGMP-compliant facility and third-party tested for identity, purity and potency.
