Does your Myo Inositol contain D-chiro inositol?
No. It is 100% myo-inositol. I tried myo alone and a 40:1 myo to d-chiro blend with my patients, and I saw better results with myo alone. I looked at their hormone levels, blood sugar, insulin and how they felt overall. Stephanie, ARNP
Is Myo Inositol safe while breastfeeding or pregnant?
We can't make safety claims for pregnancy or breastfeeding, and good studies on supplements are hard to find. It is your decision, so take the full label to your provider. Can I mix it with other powders?
Yes. It is a powder you stir into a drink, and it mixes with our Magnesium powder, Creatine, Glutamine and even our Myo Inositol Plus powder. Take 1 to 2 scoops daily. If you get loose stools or other digestive complaints, decrease by half a scoop until you are comfortable, then try increasing again a few weeks later as your body tolerates it.
Should I test my hormones before I start?
Testing first is a good idea so you know where you are starting, and plenty of women begin without it. We have a Women's Hormone Panel and a Men's Hormone Panel online. You buy the panel, we send you a lab form to take to your nearest Labcorp, and you get your blood drawn. Results usually take 3 to 4 weeks.
