I use it as part of medical treatment and consistently it has worked to lessen side effects unlike other brands I have tried.

I started taking 150 mg per night about a month ago. My dentist told me about the studies and I sent the information to my naturopath who suggested we try it for 3 months. I have been diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer to the bones and there seems to be evidence that high doses of melatonin can help. It's still too early to see the effects in my scans, but I feel fine. No side effects other than some odd dreams in the early morning hours. It may cause a little grogginess in the mornings, but I am also tired from radiation treatments....so it's all fine.
